How to create your own web site? If you reached this page, then obviously you are interested in creating your own website. There are a few things that you will definitely need to know and I will briefly cover this shortly. Creating a website is not that difficult at all. You will need to register your domain name before you can get your website on the Internet. A domain name is whatever you will call your website’s address (and the chance some website domain names are taken is pretty high), let say your website is about babies and you would like to call your baby website BabyRus, then you will need to register the domain name as an example like this “www.babyrus.co.za”. A domain name can be seen as your website’s address. I’ve got a website and domain name, but still how do I get this on the Internet? We have reached the last step to get your website on the Internet. All there is left, is to find you a host. A host? You will need to find somebody to host your website, this is someone that will find the space on some computer to store your websites information, data and so on. There are literally thousands of web hosting companies out there. Now that I’ve given a brief overview of creating a website, you can see it’s about three steps to create a website. The thing is it takes a long time getting everything into place things like designing the website, getting your data and so on. Then from there it expands even more, do you want to be seen in google?
